Introduction
Product Mapping determines which product or SKU is being used in additions (for ConnectWise Manage) or services (in Datto AutoTask).
Product Sync
The PRISM Connect Product Sync will take the list of SKUs being offered in Prism, and sync them into the PSA's product catalog or service list. Depending on the configuration the sync can include only products being used (in the most recent invoice) or all products being offered.
Once synced, partners may choose to go back to using the existing products/services they already have as in some cases, partners may already have a complete list of Microsoft 365 product SKUs.
Remapping Product
In this scenario, partners may choose to then find SKUs from the synced Products tab, and to map them to existing products or services in the PSA.
Basic Guide
Product Mapping works differently depending on the PSAs, but the general idea is the same; to get the product ID or service ID in the PSA and insert it into the product/service ID mapping.
Datto AutoTask
For AutoTask, follow the steps below to locate the Service ID.
- hover the mouse cursor on at the top left corner on AutoTask
- hover the mouse cursor on

- click to expand
- click to select
- on this page, do a search for the product by its service name:-
- the service ID is indicated in the 1st column
ConnectWise Manage
For Manage, the ID we are looking for is provided in the product share link:-
- go to and then
- on this page, do a search for the product by its description:-
- after selecting a product click on and copy the provided link
- from the given link look for the recid=.
Editing the ID into PRISM Connect
- once you have obtained the service ID or product ID, go to PRISM Connect and click on the Microsoft CSP program under your configured PSA
- go to the Products tab
- identify the items you want to edit from the list of synced products
- click on for the item
- overwrite the ID obtained from previous steps and click on
