Overview of Microsoft Accounts

Go to Manage > Microsoft CSP. In the Microsoft CSP page, you will get an overview of the Microsoft Office 365 tenants that has been added to Cloud-iQ.

In this view you can:

• Access the Microsoft ‘Management portals’.
• Add New Customers (new customer without a Microsoft Office 365 tenant)
• Add Existing Customers (customer with an existing Microsoft Office 365 tenant)

Create New Microsoft Account 

All Microsoft accounts need an Invoice Profile assigned. If you haven’t created one already, please follow the steps explained in topic Invoice Profile in this User Guide.

To add a new account without an existing Microsoft Office 365 tenant, click on Add Account > +New tenant.

Follow the instructions and enter the details and your organizations Primary Contact to create a new Microsoft Office 365 tenant in the Microsoft Cloud.

Once the Microsoft Account is created an email containing the account details will be sent to the ‘Technical contact email address’ that will be added in the next tab.

Add Existing Microsoft Account to Cloud-iQ

All Microsoft accounts need an Invoice Profile assigned. If you haven’t created one already, please follow the steps explained in topic Invoice Profile in this User Guide.

To add a new account with an existing Microsoft Office 365 tenant, click on +Add Account and then click +Existing tenant.

Step 1. On row 3 there is a link in “Microsoft CSP provider authorization”

Use an account with Global Administrator privileges in Office 365 for the specific tenant and Login to confirm the CSP authorization.

If you don’t have a global admin user for your tenant, send the link to a user with global adminrights so that they can do the authorization.

Step 2. Fill in domain and the click Try fetch

If you have entered the correct Primary Domain a 36- character Microsoft ID should now be visible in the Customer Id field, if any problems occur please refer to the instructions on how to locate the Microsoft ID.

Step 3. Authorize GDAP relationship for Crayon as support provider

On row 3 there is a link in “Granular Delegated Admin Permission”. Use an account with Global Administrator privileges in Office 365 for the specific tenant and Login to confirm the CSP authorization.

If you don’t have a global admin user for your tenant, send the link to a user with global adminrights so that they can do the authorization.
