For partners and customers using the Microsoft CSP Direct or Indirect programs, Microsoft have advised that Microsoft Customer Agreements (MCA) signed prior to 1 April 2023 need to be reaccepted. Customers who haven't reaccepted by 7 October 2025 will be prevented from performing certain actions. These include:
- New purchases
- Quantity increases or decreases
- Term duration or billing plan changes
- Upgrades
These restrictions will be enforced by Partner Center. PRISM may still allow these changes to be submitted, but when processing the change, provisioning will fail.
Identifying tenants with MCAs that require reacceptance
When viewing the manage tenant screen in PRISM, an alert will be displayed if the MCA requires reacceptance.
If you have already reaccepted the MCA, click 'check' alongside the agreement status field to update the details in PRISM.
To check the signed date for many tenants, see Bulk Review via PRISM below.
Reaccepting the Microsoft Customer Agreement
PRISM supports bulk review of MCA acceptance, and guides users to the Microsoft Admin Center to complete acceptance or reacceptance (known as direct acceptance).
Important: As of 5 January 2026, PRISM no longer supports partners reaccepting in bulk on behalf of their customers (known as partner attestation).
Bulk Review via PRISM
This method enables tenant MCA details to be exported for review.
To export tenant MCA details
- Navigate to the PRISM Portal
- Select Reports > Microsoft CSP Customer Agreements Report
- Select Save CSV
Individual reacceptance via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
This method is for individual tenant reacceptance (known as direct acceptance). Sign into the Microsoft 365 Admin Center using the following link, agree to the terms and then select Accept.
https://admin.microsoft.com/AdminPortal/Home?ref=/BillingAccounts/agreement
When reaccepting the MCA using this method, Partner Center updates ‘Customer acceptance through Microsoft’ to ‘Provided’.
Partner Center
When navigating to the manage tenant screen in PRISM, the MCA reacceptance warning may still be displayed. Click ‘check’ alongside the agreement status field to fetch the latest agreement. Because this method does not provide a signed date, the agreement status field updates to ‘Microsoft Customer Agreement accepted’.
