Azure Plan Billing
Please note that Azure Plan usage is billed through PRISM on the 5th of each month UTC for the previous months' usage. For Example, on the 5th of October 2023, you would receive an invoice for September 2023 Azure Plan usage.

- Microsoft compiles Azure Plan usage against Azure Plan subscriptions and releases this data via Partner Centre under a Closed Reconciliation File. This data is supplied to Crayon in source currencies using Microsoft's FX rates as below:

Pricing with the Azure Plan Usage File is within the accounts nominated Microsoft CSP Currency; this is shown within Column S, "Currency".

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can I match Azure Plan Invoice Usage back to the Azure Cost Management Tool?
A: The Azure Cost Management Tool will, by default, show values in USD as the Recommended Retail Price (RRP). However, with PRISM values showing in your nominated currency, it can be difficult to marry values back. The easiest way to work around this is to:
- Learn which FX rate (Crayon-to-reseller) you have been billed with. To do this:
- Navigate to the Price Lists tab in PRISM; under Program select Microsoft CSP, and under Usage Pricing Date, select a Date matching the usage period (please be mindful that PRISM operates in UTC timezone; therefore, we suggest using the a date that isn't the 1st of the month).
- Select button View Price List.
- Within the top of the screen, you will then be presented an FX rate applied value for this period.
- Use this FX rate applied value to divide (/) against your PRISM Azure Plan Usage CSV file line item to create a USD value of the line item. For Example: RRP Value of SGD: 12.984192 / 1.36 = 9.5472 USD
