This article provides a step-by-step guide for activating and provisioning Azure plan within the Cloud iQ Portal.
Activate Azure Plan in Cloud iQ
In order to activate your Azure plan, please make sure you have an active tenant in Cloud iQ. In order to allow the tenant access, please make sure that you have at least the Minimal GDAP Permissions approved (or that the legacy DAP role is still in effect). Click on the account/ tenant name via Manage.

Click on Microsoft CSP.

Click on Azure Plan tab and Create new Azure Plan to add a new target Azure CSP subscription. Click on Next

Enter the adminagent group object ID

Click on Order

You can see below that a new Azure subscription has been created after.

(Optional) If you’re migrating an Azure Plan subscription from other provider or PAYG, then please reach out to local ops/ Cloud ops team to submit the Azure Plan transfer request by providing Customer name, Customer admin email address, Existing Partner Name, and Existing Partner’s Microsoft ID.

- (Optional) Once existing partner accepted the transfer request, within 24 hours the subscription will be migrated to Crayon and you will see additional Subscription ID available on the Azure Plan view. Next step would also be liaising with Cloud Ops team for Crayon to have AOBO access of the subscription for Microsoft rebate claim purpose.
Provision Azure Plan Reservations
Please find below detailed instructions to provision Azure Plan Reservation through Cloud iQ
- Click on Marketplace then click on Azure Plan Reservations
- If you are certain of the exact reserved instance you are ordering, try a direct keyword search else you can also look up the SKU. Alternatively, you can utilise the Filter menu to explore all the options available.
You can download the whole pricelist so it will be easier for you to locate the instance and compare option / prices.
- Once you've located the SKU you want to order, click the cart icon to add it and move on to the next item.
- After you've purchased everything you require, click on Go to Checkout by hovering over the cart icon at the top.
- Make sure you choose the right tenant account and invoice profile for the instance you will be provisioning. You can schedule a future order date and add a notification email as additional options.
- Select the Azure Plan subscription you wish to provision the reservation into, billing cycle as well as the Scope (monthly, annual if available). Click Complete Purchase to finalise the order.
