Azure Reserved Instance - Renewal Process

Azure Reserved Instances are provisioned with commitment term in place of: 1, 3 or 5 years (as of the time this article was written); however, Reserved Instances are also provisioned with auto-renew disabled, meaning they will expire rather than renew. Therefore, we suggest submitting a new order as a replacement. 

 

Azure Reservations are not renewed/replaced with a new order, they will roll over to Azure pay-as-you-go with higher fees.
